Working in early years for 20 years across a range of roles from practitioner through to management, training and HR.
My passion for the sector and the people who work within it grew. Dedicated to improving the experiences of those working within the early years community in the knowledge that happy, motivated staff teams are the key to happy and engaged children and families.
Qualifying to degree level in Early Years Education, Early Years Professional Status and Human resource development, my own continuous professional development is key to supporting the ever changing and growing environment that is early years.
Having worked in early years for my entire career, I am passionate about developing strong leadership in the sector. My previous roles in early years management, training and development have provided me with vast experience and knowledge which I am eager to share.
Having previously managed settings, written texts for Heinemann and developed online training material, I feel privileged to have an impact on the development of sector professionals.
More recently completing a degree in Business and Human Resources Management, I am dedicated to empowering leaders to find their voice, work with integrity and to lead their settings to the best of their ability. The Early Years sector is slowly becoming recognised for the important role it plays in society and I am proud to be able to play a part in the development of leaders of the future.
